Announcing two faculty positions at the Microbial Sciences Institute (MSI) at Yale University

The MSI is a central hub where research teams from multiple departments contribute broad perspectives, approaches, and expertise in microbiology. Current research areas include chemistry and genetics of host-microbe interaction, microbial community dynamics and function, and structural biology of microbes. The MSI values deep exploration of the microbial world, prizes mentorship and interaction, and aims to push the boundaries of microbiology.

The Microbial Sciences Institute (MSI) at Yale University, in partnership with the Department of Biomedical Informatics & Data Science at Yale School of Medicine, seeks applicants for an assistant professor tenure track faculty position in computational microbiology.
The Microbial Sciences Institute (MSI) at Yale University, in partnership with the Department of Immunobiology (IBIO) at Yale School of Medicine, seeks applicants for an assistant professor tenure track faculty position in microbe-immune interaction. The Department of Immunobiology supports research on all aspects of the immune system. Research interests encompass basic mechanisms of immune system development, function, and regulation, and the human immune system’s role in health and disease.
